About 7 years ago I came across the Neem Tree from India. I was inspired by Ayurveda (** one of the world’s oldest holistic (whole-body) healing systems.) I was instantly all about NEEM! I first tried capsules with the leaf and after further research I opted for the veggie caps which are complete with flower ,leaf,and bark. I started using the oil (external use only please!) in my hair and on my body. I switched to the Neem toothpaste, tooth powder, mouthwash  and soap. It was not long before I felt amazing. I felt like I found a magic cure all, which is traditionally how Neem has been regarded in India .

Growing up in India various friends share how Neem grows all over and memories of simply snapping a fresh twig and fraying the end was used as a toothbrush and quick mouth cleanse. The shade under the tree is cooler than surrounding air and cleansed of bacteria and pests. In proportion to the tree, there is an area around each trunk in which no germs or insects can live….they simply do not like it there. There is a long list of “anti” properties including:
  • anti – bacterial
  • anti-fungal
  • anti-microbial
  • anti-viral
  • anti-parasitic
  • anti-septic
  • anti-diabetic
  • blood-purifying
  • spermicidal
 I have read different research studies and information on Neem and it is quite a blessing. In my experience using it has helped those I recommend it to tremendously. From people with painful eczema and dry skin, to digestive issues or even just wanting vibrant hair, Neem has many uses and benefits. I hope to inspire you to adopt Neem into your daily life in one form or another..or ALL of them 🙂
**{Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old natural healing system, originates in the Vedic culture of India. Tibetan medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine have their roots in Ayurveda. Early Greek medicine also has  many concepts which were originally described in classic ayurvedic medical texts thousands of years old. Ayurveda is”science of life” (Ayur = life,Veda = science/knowledge).  Ayurveda guides health on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between and dynamic integration of the mind, body, and spirit and environment. Ayurveda provides ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet, behavior and the proper use of our senses. }
