Superfood for super days and feeling super awesome!! I talk about superfood all the time and to me a superfood is anything that is…well…super ! Super packed with nutrition per morsel and bite because like I said before, no one has time to prepare or eat 20 heads of broccoli a day..for real.

Ok !Ok! you say, sign me up, what do I do, where do I buy it and please let it taste good! Don’t worry sweet friend, I totally hear ya’! Superfood “Chacha” Sprinkles is one of my all time favorite recipes for a yummy snack you can use to bump up the nutritional value of ANY dish (salad,popcorn,burritos,sandwiches,soup, tacos make as a dip for carrots…really mostly everything) and its easy to take with you too! I keep a little shaker of it in my bag so if I have the chance to make a salad( or am in a meeting with friends who do not eat like I do) I can just shake some on and OHMMMM my, we have nutrients.

All you need are the ingredients and a bowl to mix them all up, perhaps a jar to keep it in and a travel shaker ( yes please reuse a sweet salt shaker that is empty or the like).

*****Superfood Starseed Sprinkles******

(I call it my Chacha Sprinkles but you can call it whatever your heart desires)

2 cups Nutritional yeast

1/2 cup Cashews (powdered in a coffee grinder, food processor)

3 tbsp Spirulina ( I love it, some people not so much …if its new to you start smaller 🙂 My favorite is from Raw Revelations Superfoods and you can order HERE )

2 tsp Garlic powder (  I alternate with Hing)

2 tbsp Cayenne ( I like it spicy but if it is not your thing leave it out or use less)

2 tsp Asafetida(hing) {I use instead of garlic, similar flavor so either or, unless you like the remix!!}

1/2 cup Pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup Sesame seeds

1/2 cup  Hemp seeds

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

3 tbsp Mustard Seeds(yellow) {these little guys have a kick so again, try it out or leave it out }

3 tbsp Kalonji (black ) seeds – now these I really like but they are a bit different, do not worry if you can not find them( at local middle eastern or indian spice place) If you get some I hope you love them like I do, if not the mix is still super delicious without them.

YAY! So you have all the goods, mix it all up in a bowl and then jar it for convenient sprinkling later.
